My art practice primarily explores my experience as a US Army soldier during the Great War of Terror (GWOT). The foundational material for my work is paper handmade from military uniforms. I believe this ancient craft carries with it the history of militarism, and the countless stories which can be told through the textile fibers of both participants and victims of war. Since 2007, I have been studying and teaching this craft in workshops around the United States. Please feel free to reach out regarding exhibitions, sales, or instruction inquiries.
